Welcome to Office of the DIG, DIFE, Feni

The Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) is a department under the Ministry of Labour and Employment. This department is responsible for ensuring welfare, safety and health of valuable human resources working in various sectors contributing national development. By enforcing Bangladesh Labour Act, 2006 the department has been leading the nation in creating a safe and healthy work culture and improving the quality of wage earner. 


The head office of this department is at Shram Bhavan in Bijoynagar, Dhaka. The department has offices of Deputy Inspector General in 31 districts across the country. Office of Deputy Inspector General, Feni Jurisdiction Feni, Noakhali and Lasmipur district. According to the organogram, there are 14 posts of 9 officers and 5 staffs in this office. Office Address Waledain Tower, Kathbalia (At the north of Salauddin Moor), Madani Nagar, Feni.

◉ According to the Bangladesh Labour Act, 2006 and Bangladesh Labour Rules, 2015 creating a better working environment for workers and taking steps to eliminate child labour engaged in hazardous work; 

◉ Ensuring occupational health and safety measures for all workers in the workplace; 

◉ Ensuring the implementation of minimum wage rates announced by the government in various sectors.
